Since the pursuit of a career in the film industry I have in the last year written, directed and produced the dark and mysterious ‘Blacklist’, my first interactive movie ‘Katrina’ and the ‘mockumentary’ comedy ‘Conglomeration’. I have also produced the comedy ‘Bliss’, recorded live events for Wandsworth Council and filmed and edited charity events such as the White Hat Rally which I also participated in. I am currently working on various video and film projects on a freelance basis. My latest work has been working with TV presenter Darren Simons at Aspire Presenting, filming and editing TV presenter show-reels.
As a Director and Producer I like to use my past knowledge and understanding of psychology and new media in combination with my many film influences to produce high quality, thought provoking films.
I see myself as a collaborative director, I like to work very close to my actors/actresses and take feedback on their thoughts and feelings regarding their character's lines, feel and tone.
As part of my directing style I enjoy unusual shots and angles. I like to make use of Supers close ups of hands, eyes and mouth. I also enjoy a mixture of third and first person shots as well unusual shots such as exerimenting with blurry vision.
