Roberto Alfonso Iacurci

After graduating from CITY University in 2008 with a first class degree in Psychology. I decided I wanted to combine this knowledge with a more creative career path. My passion for film narrative, digital photo editing,  and other multimedia areas as well as an enthusiasm for computers made me enroll the following year for a Masters in Digital Media from which I obtained a distinction.  This course as well as work experience undertaken at Higher Ground Creative Ltd in Covent Garden has made me quickly and efficiently pick up skills I previously never had yet always wanted.

Since the pursuit of a career in the film industry I have in the last year directed and produced the dark and mysterious ‘Blacklist’, my first interactive movie ‘Katrina’ and the twisted comedy ‘Bliss’. I have also worked in collaboration with the amazingly talented Sammm Agnew and Festival of Sins in December 2009 at Camden’s Purple Turtle. Together we produced and filmed a breathtaking installation that pushed the boundaries of creativity. I am currently working on various video and film projects on a freelance basis. I have also undertaken work experience at Panavision where I gained much needed practical knowledge and understanding of all different types of digital and film cameras.  My latest work has been working with TV presenter Darren Simons at Aspire Presenting, filming and editing TV presenter show-reels.
